Link Wentworth offers housing assistance to people who are at risk of becoming homeless or need help to rent in the private rental market. We offer private rental assistance to help you: 

• set up or maintain a tenancy in the private sector 
• pay urgent housing related costs like rent arrears 
• move from public housing to private rental accommodation.Ìý

I’m experiencing domestic and family violence

For domestic and family violence support, call the Domestic and Family Violence line: 1800 656 463 

is a housing assistance program that provides rent support to those who have already left or need to leave an unsafe home due to family or domestic violence.Ìý

To be eligible to receive a Rent Choice Start Safely, you should be escaping domestic or family violence and: 

• Eligible for social housing 
• ÐÇ¿ÕÊÓƵless or at risk of homelessness 
• Willing to receive support services where relevant.Ìý

I’m on the social housing waitlist

The provides medium-term housing support, helping you access affordable accommodation in the private rental market with a subsidised weekly rent while you wait for suitable social housing to become available.Ìý

To be eligible for the Subsidy, you must meet set criteria, including: 

• being approved for priority status on the NSW Housing Register 
• having a recognised disability or medical condition 
• being at risk in their current accommodation, which is not suitable for them to reside in while they wait for social housing.Ìý

I’m homeless or at risk of homelessness

is available if you’re renting in the private market,. This can help with rent and water arrears if you’re eligible.Ìý

°Õ³ó±ð  helps you and your support agency set up a tenancy in the private rental market if you have complex needs. 

The service helps you address short-term housing needs.
