Chief Growth and Innovation Officer
In August, I was appointed Chief Growth and Innovation Officer with Link Wentworth. Mine is a new role, reflective of the current transitioning nature of the sector and the focus by government and the community on housing. It is an exciting opportunity.
My background is firmly within the development sector, my career is in planning, housing and development. I have two strong interests in housing 鈥� the first is addressing the levers necessary to provide more social and affordable housing and advocating for that from the CHP perspective. Secondly and in support of this, introducing new housing typologies that provide housing choice and of course, affordability.
The question, for me, is: how can we challenge the status quo to make the change we need? Growth and Innovation is such a good title for the challenge ahead. There are many competing voices in this space, influencing government and policy makers on build-to-rent, affordable and social housing. I hope we can make a difference and be clear about the reform, priority, and commitment needed – and then deliver more homes and the necessary services to support those in need and our community.
