Link Wentworth is in the midst of a development and partnership boom, with all seven of our Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) Round 1 projects signed off and approved.
Earlier this year, internal development and leadership teams focused efforts toward meeting submission deadlines for Housing Australia’s HAFF Round 1.
Working with our project partners, these new developments will increase the supply of social and affordable housing in Sydney and provide 361 very high-quality homes for those in housing need.
Link Wentworth will provide 251 permanent new social homes and 110 permanent new affordable homes, a total of 361 new homes, in the suburbs of Cammeray, Rouse Hill, Macquarie Park, North Manly, Thornleigh, Pennant Hills and Lane Cove North.
In addition, our Schofields project, in partnership with Landcom, has been approved for funding under HAFF Round 2 and fast-tracked under the NSW Government’s State Significant Development (SSD) pathway, which will result in an additional 63 permanent social homes.
CEO Andrew McAnulty said:
“The continuation of the historic and important HAFF Round 1 & Round 2 commitments paves the way for thousands of brand-new social and affordable homes. There is also the reassurance of knowing that the housing agenda is well and truly top of mind for both state and federal governments.
I am now looking forward to continuing our work with all levels of government in delivering much-needed homes and partnering with more support services to help people thrive.”
