In partnership with North Sydney Council, Link Wentworth is delivering a 鈥榥ew generation鈥� boarding house in Cammeray. The property will comprise 12 studio units for people at risk of or experiencing homelessness or housing stress, giving them easy access to amenities, public transport and services.听听
This development deepens Link Wentworth鈥檚 40-year partnership with North Sydney Council and aligns with our combined vision to deliver more social and affordable homes in local communities.听
The site of the Cammeray development formerly contained a single-story, detached dwelling, comprising five boarding rooms with two shared bathrooms.听
The new, four-storey development will provide more than double the dwellings with a focus on amenities and facilities that better accommodate a contemporary lifestyle. Complete with a communal living area, storage, shared laundry and outdoor space, the 鈥榥ew generation鈥� boarding house will prioritise good design, comfort and safety for residents. 听
It is ideally located near shops, public transport and key amenities.听

Link Wentworth has engaged Become Architecture to design a thoughtful and well-considered building that complements the Cammeray neighbourhood.听
The Cammeray development will comprise 12 self-contained micro-units with shared laundry facilities, a communal living space, outdoor area and storage options. It is well-located and within walking distance to the Cammeray town centre. Bus stops close by deliver short services to the CBD, Royal North Shore Hospital, Northern Beaches and a range of other areas.听
For this property, we are striving to reach a 鈥楽ilver鈥� standard in Living Housing Design (LHA) standards and will aim for 鈥楪old鈥� standard where feasible. This focus on high-quality construction, and the inclusion of three accessible units, will allow our residents to be house proud and age in place.听听
