The site of the Cammeray development formerly contained a single-story, detached dwelling, comprising five boarding rooms with two shared bathrooms.Ìý
The new, four-storey development will provide more than double the dwellings with a focus on amenities and facilities that better accommodate a contemporary lifestyle. Complete with a communal living area, storage, shared laundry and outdoor space, the ‘new generation’ boarding house will prioritise good design, comfort and safety for residents. Ìý

Link Wentworth has engaged Become Architecture to design a thoughtful and well-considered building that complements the Cammeray neighbourhood.Ìý
The Cammeray development will comprise 12 self-contained micro-units with shared laundry facilities, a communal living space, outdoor area and storage options. It is well-located and within walking distance to the Cammeray town centre. Bus stops close by deliver short services to the CBD, Royal North Shore Hospital, Northern Beaches and a range of other areas.Ìý
For this property, we are striving to reach a ‘Silver’ standard in Living Housing Design (LHA) standards and will aim for ‘Gold’ standard where feasible. This focus on high-quality construction, and the inclusion of three accessible units, will allow our residents to be house proud and age in place.ÌýÌý
