Link Wentworth and 星空视频s NSW have partnered to deliver a Seniors Living development in Thornleigh. The project comprises of 48 new independent senior living units, to help very low to low income households.
Designed by Place Studio, delivering 48 Seniors living units. This development delivers 3 beautiful architecturally design 2storey buildings, that seamlessly integrate a landscaped streetscape. Each building comprises of 12 one-bedroom units and 4 two-bedroom units, to meet and support the needs of seniors to age in place.
Project is within the Planning and Design Phase, with a Development Application to be lodged with Hornsby Shire Council in early 2025.
A key design objective was to maximise the public and private amenities for the residents.
The groundfloor breezeway is sheltered and designed with a native landscape with places to rest, relax and gather. The two rooftop community gardens also offer an internal community room and bathroom amenities.
The design has a focus on sustainability and maximises solar amenity and cross ventilation for the comfort of the future residents, with provisions for a fully electrified building supported by solar panels.
